January 16, 2026 Tartans Top a Ranked WashU Team at Home for Fourth Time in Five Years The Carnegie Mellon University men's basketball team topped 13th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) by a 64-61 score on Friday, January 16 to advance to 10-3 for the season. The University Athletic Association (UAA) victory puts the Tartans at 2-0 in the league while the Bears fall to 10-3 overall and 0-2 in the UAA.

The Tartans are now 10-3 overall and 1-1 in University Athletic Association (UAA) play. The Maroons moved to 10-3, 1-1.

Allen of #19 Carnegie Mellon Breaks Two Single-Game School Records in 101-92 Overtime Victory Over Dickinson Junior Justin Allen of the 19th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's basketball team breaks single-game scoring and three-point records in 101-92 overtime victory against Dickinson College Monday afternoon. Allen finished the game with 50 points and nine made three-point buckets, as the Tartans win in Pittsburgh closed their non-University Athletic Association (UAA) slate with a 9-2 record while Dickinson is now 4-7.
